Our environment is precious - let's all do our part to help protect it.

Facility
Our warehouse/plant is fully insulated and utilizes large body heat sinks to regulate temperature.
We use passive solar lighting and climate control.
We use no heating or cooling to maintain products at optimum temperature.
We use electric lighting during winter months for no more than 2 hours per day.
Our company vehicles use 100% non polluting electric power.

Paper Products
All invoices and other paper materials printed for our customers is done on 100% post consumer recycled paper and printed with soy inks.
We do not print a company catalog.
All paper office supplies are made from recycled, tree free, or chemical free sources

Shipping Materials
We use recycled post-consumer newsprint to cushion orders.
Our cardboard boxes used for shipping are made from 100% post-consumer corrugation material.The plastic bubble wrap we use is manufactured from 25% recycled post-consumer plastic.
We re-use packing material (peanuts) and boxes sent to us from other companies.

Chemical Free Environment
We do not use any harsh chemical cleaning agents, bleaches, synthetic and chemical based soaps, ammonia, chlorine, dioxide, commercial pest repellents, fumigants, or other synthetic agents which are harmful to ourselves or the environment.
All cleaning products used within our facilities are natural, bio-degradable and are approved for use within certified organic facilities.
We do not fumigate nor do we use chemical killing agents.

Recycling Program
Almost all waste generated by Fresh Organics is either recycled or salvaged. All office paper, metal and plastic drums, scrap paper, cardboard, cans, bottles, plastic, steel, and wood is salvaged, reused and/or recycled.
We also recycle all electronic and computer components which are no longer repairable by taking them to a local facility for proper salvage, reclamation or disposal, thus preventing several known heavy metal sources from being leached into land-fills.
